"We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;"
Core Beliefs
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, providing the foundation for our faith and practice. It is the ultimate authority in all matters of doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16).
God
We believe in the Oneness of God, affirming that there is only one true God who manifests Himself in various ways, including as Father in creation, as the Son in redemption, and as the Holy Spirit in regeneration (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6).
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh, both fully divine and fully human. In Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9). He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day (John 1:1, 14).
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and involves repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:38; Ephesians 2:8-9).
Baptism
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. It is essential for salvation as through baptism we are baptized into Christ, experiencing His death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3-4; Galatians 3:27; Acts 2:38).
Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the initial sign of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46). Christians are encouraged to be filled daily with the Holy Spirit by using their prayer language. The ongoing evidence of the Holy Spirit's indwelling presence is a transformed life, characterized by the expression of the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
The Church
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, composed of all born-again believers, and exists to worship God, edify the saints, and evangelize the world. We are called to live in unity and love, demonstrating the transformative power of the gospel (Ephesians 4:11-16; Hebrews 10:25).
Christian Living
We believe in living a life of holiness and separation from the world, reflecting the character of Christ in our daily conduct. This includes personal integrity, moral purity, and dedication to prayer and the study of God's Word (Romans 12:1-2; 1 Peter 1:15-16)
Return of Christ
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ to rapture His church and the establishment of His eternal kingdom. We look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 21:1-4).
